We’ve gone and done it. We’d been thinking about it for a long time, but now were down here, we really couldn’t resist, we’re so close. It’s expensive, yeah, but we got almost 50% of the normal price, so a two for one deal! It’s the last continent on earth, it’s Antarctica, and we set sail for her shores at 1900hrs November 19, 2006. As you can probably tell we’re REALLY excited and can’t wait to see icebergs, penguins and other cool antarctic stuff! No doubt we’ll bore you all senseless with shed loads of photos and videos.

Other news this week, on Thursday 16th Nov it was Dolly’s birthday! (and my mum’s! Happy Birthday Mother!) and it snowed all day! We woke up to snow outside the window which Dolly was very happy about. Sneakily I managed to get all her cards and some pressies all the way out here without her knowing, so she had a lovely time opening them all in bed! Later on we took a trip down to the local aquarium which turned out to be rubbash! So went for a pint of Birthday Guinness instead, followed by a lovely meal that evening!

Ok, well this is the last post we’ll be making for at least 2 weeks, we won’t be able to upload any photos either till early December when we get back from “The Ice” as the cool people down here say.
